A New Season, A New Light
A new season can bring more than changing weather — it can bring a small change of heart, too. That’s what this moment feels like for us at Avalglass. We’re a family studio in Poland, and stained glass is what we do best. This time, we’ve poured that love into something sacred: our new religious collection.
We didn’t make this collection to be trendy. We made it because people asked. They wanted something beautiful, but also something meaningful — to give to a godparent, a friend going through something hard, or simply to add comfort and light to their prayer corner. So we listened.
Holy Light, Soft Glow

Let’s talk about the pieces themselves. One of the most loved new items is the Holy Family Candleholder. It’s a small sculpture of stained glass that shines softly when a candle is placed inside. We also introduced new suncatchers. One we’re especially proud of is the Stained Glass Lamb of God Suncatcher. The lamb’s white body glows against a rich blue and gold background, and when the sun shines through, it fills the room with gentle light. It’s a daily reminder of hope and renewal. Many customers say it brings comfort during hard days, or simply makes them pause and smile.

Jesus’ Heavenly Ascension, with arms outstretched and a red cloak flowing behind him, this suncatcher captures Jesus in the moment of rising — weightless, graceful, full of peace. The white robes shine softly when sunlight passes through the glass, and the gentle reds and blues around him create a sense of movement and quiet joy. We made this piece by hand, as always, cutting each bit of glass carefully and shaping it with the Tiffany technique. It’s not just a window piece — it’s a daily reminder of hope, love, and the promise that there’s more beyond what we see.

There’s something calming about this Holy Spirit Dove Stained Glass Suncatcher. Maybe it’s the way the light moves through its wings — or the way it seems to hover midair, right there in your window. The soft whites and golds catch the morning sun and scatter light in a gentle way. We made this suncatcher for anyone who needs a bit of calm in their day. It’s simple. Pure.
