A Spark of Inspiration
In 2004, during a family trip to the Polish Tatry, Anna discovered stained glass — and instantly fell in love with the craft.

From Storage Room to Workshop
Back home, she turned a tiny storage room into her first workshop and began learning stained glass after work hours.
July, 2004
A Big Decision
Balancing a full-time job, motherhood, and her new passion became impossible. With the full support of her husband Oleg, who did everything to help her pursue her dream, Anna left her job to follow her heart.
March, 2005
First Milestones
Not long after, the first commercial project was completed. The results spoke for themselves. It was a quiet but meaningful moment — proof that what began as a hobby had the potential to grow into something real.
January, 2019
Fifteen Years of Growth
By 2019, Anna had built a respected name, leading a team of 13 talented artists and completing over 1000 projects.
June, 2020
A Turning Point in Italy
In 2020, her older son Alex spotted stained glass in an Italian souvenir shop. It was poorly made, uninspired, and overpriced. He knew his mom’s work could offer so much more.
July 13-th, 2020
The Birth of Avalglass
Back home, Alex dove into research. Seeing a clear gap in the market, Anna trusted her son’s vision — and Avalglass was born. But it wasn't complete until Alex invited his younger brother Michael onboard. That’s when the puzzle came together.

October, 2020
Our First Retail Partner
After months of trial and error, our first wholesale partner was a souvenir shop in Assisi, Italy. We were officially in business.
November, 2020
Going Online
Later that year, we launched on Etsy — and made our very first online sale to Australia: a $72 order of stained glass angels.
January, 2022
Our First Bestseller
In 2022, our Ginkgo Suncatcher became a hit. We expanded our team and moved into a larger workshop — custom-designed by Oleg for creative flow and production efficiency.

10,000 Sales Milestone
By October 2024, we celebrated 10,000 sales and over 4.000 glowing reviews. Every single one means the world to us.

In 2025, Avalglass is a true family business — with mother, father, and two sons all involved. We’re a team of 20, with over 240 unique designs, and a presence in 12+ countries. And we’re just getting started.
