Collection: Christmas Decorations

Christmas Decorations Made of Stained Glass

Christmas has always been one of our favorite times of year. There are the lights, the little traditions, the decorations we bring out every December... and, of course, all those things that somehow stay in the box for eleven months before we finally get to see them again!

At Avalglass, we make our Christmas decorations by hand in our workshop in Poland. Every piece starts with a piece of glass and passes through our artisans' hands before it finds its way to your home.

Our collection includes stained glass Christmas ornaments, hanging decorations, suncatchers, tabletop pieces, and small decorative figures. You’ll find classic Christmas designs alongside angels, birds, flowers, cardinals, and other pieces inspired by nature.

Handmade Stained Glass Christmas Ornaments

Our glass ornaments are made using traditional stained glass techniques, with every piece cut, shaped, soldered, and finished by hand. No two pieces are exactly alike, which is part of the charm.

Hang a stained glass Christmas ornament on your tree, in a window, or anywhere that could use a little extra color. Some of our ornaments are festive and traditional, while others can happily stay up long after Christmas is over.

More Than Just Christmas Decorations

We love making decorations that don't have to disappear into a box after the holidays.

Our stained glass birds, flowers, and cardinals can become part of your home decor throughout the year. A stained glass cardinal can bring a lovely natural touch to a window, while stained glass flowers add a little color without ever needing water.

This is also what makes our pieces such lovely stained glass gifts. They can be given for Christmas, birthdays, housewarmings, anniversaries, or simply because you saw something and thought, "That's so them."

Stained Glass Art Made by Hand

Stained glass is an old craft, but that doesn't mean it has to look old-fashioned. We combine traditional techniques with our own designs to create pieces that feel at home in modern interiors as well as more traditional spaces.

Every piece of stained glass art is made by our artisans in Poland. We cut the glass by hand, assemble the individual pieces using copper foil, solder them together, and finish each decoration by hand.

Small diferencies are part of the process. They are also part of what makes handmade glass different from something produced by a machine.

Looking for a Special Stained Glass Gift?

If you're looking for something a little more personal than another pair of socks, our stained glass gifts are made to be kept and enjoyed for years.

Choose a traditional stained glass Christmas ornament for someone who loves the holidays, a stained glass bird or flower for a nature lover, or a stained glass cardinal for someone special. And if you have an idea that you don't see in our collection, get in touch with us. We love creating something new.

Can I Order Custom Stained Glass Decorations?

Absolutely! Many of our designs can be adjusted in terms of colors, details, and size, and we can also create completely new designs for special occasions or gifts.

If you have an idea in mind, send it our way. We are always happy to see what you have been dreaming up.

How to Care for Your Stained Glass Decorations

Your stained glass decoration doesn't need much attention. A soft, dry cloth is usually enough to remove dust. If it needs a little more cleaning, use a mild soap solution and gently wipe the glass.

Avoid abrasive cleaners and scrubbing, especially around the soldered areas.

Whether you're decorating your Christmas tree, looking for a special gift, or simply adding another little piece of stained glass art to your home, I hope you find something here that makes you smile.

And remember: flowers don't have to wilt, birds don't have to fly away, and Christmas decorations don't necessarily have to wait until December.
